It is once again time for the tulips to swing us on into spring time.

Obviously the bugs are happy to see them also.

First rose of the season…

Abi and Charlie say, “Happy weekend in the garden, everyone!”

  5. The growing season is from middle of June till end of September,no more no less.

I wish it would warm up faster and stay warm longer.

Sometimes our summers are really hot and humid ,but most summers are rainy with very few nice weekends for people to enjoy. This is the north so you have a gazillion cottages all around the lakes everywhere, so when the summer sucks its really sad to have a long winter, which was our story this year.

Plus our summers are bug infested ,black flies and moskitos huge things that can eat a cow in one sitting(kidding.. well almost)

Everyone is groaning….. and can’t wait for summer and shed 5 layers of clothing….You have to be a northerner to understand I suppose…

When we see sun its like a gift from heaven !!
